Thomas Contracting was established by D. Glacey Thomas in 1958 as a general construction firm.  Under the management of Guy Thomas since 1976, Thomas Contracting has diversified into maritime support and commercial diving, providing complete underwater services for marine construction, heavy industry and the general maritime trade.

Serving clients throughout the Southeastern United States, Bahamas and Caribbean, our customer base is extensive ranging from the United States Navy to many local, regional and international engineering firms, contractors, government agencies, shipyards, vessel owners and insurance companies.

Divers

We offer a trained and experienced staff that utilizes the latest and most advanced surface supplied diving gear to safely complete your underwater projects or remedy any maritime emergency.

All of our divers are Rapid Gate badge holders and TWIC certified.

Safety

Diving operations are performed in accordance with the Thomas Contracting “Safety & Operations Manual” adhering to the appropriate federal, state and local regulations regarding commercial diving operations.

Insurance

We are a fully insured company with United States Longshore & Harbor Workers (USL&H) in addition to Jones Act coverage.
